Who runs Stake and what licence does it hold?
The operator is Medium Rare N.V., registered in Curaçao (Seru Loraweg 17 B, reg. no. 145353). The licence quoted in section 1.1 of the Terms of Service is OGL/2024/1451/0918 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Payments are handled through two Cyprus-based agents: Medium Rare Limited (HE 410775) and MRS Tech Ltd.
What does that mean for you as a USDT player? A Curaçao licence is the standard setup for offshore crypto casinos. It is not a local licence in your country, so local player protections may not apply. Read the terms before you deposit, and make sure your country is not on the prohibited list. Support is available through live chat and at support@stake.com.
Games: what is in the lobby?
Stake calls itself the "World's Largest Online Casino and Sportsbook". We do not repeat a game count because Stake does not publish one, but the lobby structure tells you a lot. You will find these categories:
- Only on Stake
- Slots, Bonus Buy and Enhanced RTP
- Live Casino and Game Shows
- Burst Games
- Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette
Providers we saw in the lobby include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Paperclip Gaming and Valkyrie, plus others.
Stake Originals
The in-house games are the part most crypto players come for. Mines, Dice, Limbo, Plinko, Crash, Hilo, Blackjack and Roulette are all provably fair. Before each round the casino commits to a server seed and shows you its hash, you set your own client seed, and a nonce counts your bets. Once you rotate seeds, you can check every past result. If you play fast, small-stake games with USDT, this is a practical way to confirm you are not being shortchanged.
Sportsbook and poker
The sportsbook covers mainstream and niche markets - soccer, basketball, ice hockey, cricket, tennis, American football, horse racing and CS2 among them. Boosted odds appear for soccer, NHL and NFL on the promotions page. There is also Stake Poker. If betting matters as much as slots, see how Stake compares in our USDT sports betting picks, and for dealer tables check the USDT live casino shortlist.
How do USDT payments work at Stake?
USDT sits in Stake's crypto list alongside BTC, ETH, LTC, TRX, USDC, SOL and others. Local currencies are available in some regions, but most players here will use the crypto Wallet. Here is what you need to know before you send anything:
- Pick the network in the Wallet. Stake shows the available USDT networks when you open the deposit screen. We do not list them here - the Wallet is the source of truth, and it is what your sending wallet must match.
- Deposits are free on Stake's side. There are no deposit fees and no minimum or maximum limits on crypto deposits. The network fee still applies and is paid by you when you send.
- Withdrawals have a per-coin minimum. The minimum withdrawal and any fee are shown at the bottom of the withdrawal screen for each cryptocurrency. Check this before you request a cashout.
- Transfers are final. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed. Send a small test amount first if you are using a new wallet or a new network.
We cover every click of the process, plus troubleshooting, on the Stake USDT deposit and withdrawal guide. If you do not hold USDT yet, start with how to buy USDT for a casino.
Bonuses: VIP Club instead of a welcome match
Stake does not advertise a standard deposit-match welcome bonus. That is unusual, and it changes how you should think about value. Instead, Stake rewards volume through the VIP Club. Tiers are set by total wagered, starting at Bronze ($10k), then Silver ($50k) and Gold ($100k), followed by Platinum levels in the hundreds of thousands and millions.
Benefits across the tiers include weekly and monthly bonuses, rakeback, level-up bonuses and bonus growth. From Platinum you also get daily bonuses and reloads, and higher tiers add a dedicated VIP host.
Alongside the VIP Club, the promotions page runs casino and sports offers, raffles and prize pools (for example a $50,000 slot raffle), provider promos, boosted odds and a Challenges section. These rotate, so treat them as a bonus on top rather than a reason to join. The full breakdown, with a tier table and a USDT wagering example, is on our Stake bonus page for USDT players.
Account, sign-in and verification
You register with an email address, and passkey login is supported, which is handy if you want to avoid typing a password on mobile. Stake does not publish verification thresholds in the sources we checked, so do not assume you will never be asked for documents. Keep your account details accurate, and read the terms on identity checks before you deposit large amounts.
Who should pick Stake - and who should skip it?
Stake suits you if:
- you bet on sports as well as playing casino games and want one USDT balance for both
- you value provably fair Originals and like to verify results
- you play enough volume for VIP Club rewards to add up
- you want no deposit fees and no deposit caps on crypto
Look elsewhere if:
- you want a welcome bonus on your first deposit
- you need published USDT networks before signing up - Rakebit, for example, lists TRC20, BEP20, ERC20, Solana and TON in its official info (see our Rakebit review)
- you live in a prohibited jurisdiction
