USDT on ERC20 Casinos - When Ethereum Is Worth the Gas
Rakebit is the only one of the 4 casinos in our ranking that officially publishes USDT on ERC20, as one of five USDT networks, with no withdrawal fee of its own and withdrawal limits of up to $500,000 depending on loyalty level. Stake, Jack and Qzino accept USDT too, but their cashier is where you see the networks on offer.
ERC20 is USDT on Ethereum mainnet, and the fee for every transfer is gas paid in ETH. That single fact shapes the whole decision: ERC20 is rarely the network you pick for a quick $20 top-up, but it can be the natural choice when your USDT already sits on Ethereum or when the amount is large enough that the fee hardly matters. This page is built around that decision rather than around a generic how-to.
Should you use ERC20 for a casino deposit?
Ask three questions before you choose it:
- Where is your USDT right now? If it is already on Ethereum in a self-custody wallet, moving it to another network first means an extra step and an extra fee. Sending on ERC20 directly is often simpler.
- How big is the transfer? Gas is paid per transaction, not as a percentage. The bigger the amount, the smaller the fee looks next to it.
- Do you hold ETH? A wallet with USDT and no ETH cannot pay gas, so the transfer will not go through.
If you answered "on an exchange", "small" and "no ETH", one of the other networks will almost always be more practical - see the comparison at the end.
ERC20 at a glance
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Widely supported by wallets and exchanges | Gas is paid in ETH, so you need a second coin |
| Familiar for anyone already on Ethereum | Gas on mainnet is the cost that layer-2 networks were built to reduce |
| Rakebit lists it for both USDT and USDC | Not every casino shows it - check the cashier |
How does gas work on ERC20?
Every USDT transfer on Ethereum is paid for in gas, priced in ETH. Your wallet shows an estimate before you confirm. The amount is not a fixed price list, so treat each estimate as fresh rather than assuming it matches your last transfer.
Practical habits that help:
- Read the estimate, then decide. If it looks high relative to what you are sending, wait or pick another network the cashier offers.
- Leave the wallet's suggested gas settings alone unless you know exactly what you are changing. Saving a little on gas is not worth a transfer that stalls.
- Send once, not in pieces. Because gas is per transaction, splitting a deposit into many small ones multiplies the cost. Do one small test, then one main transfer.
ERC20 is not the same as Arbitrum or Base
Arbitrum and Base are Ethereum layer-2 networks with lower fees than Ethereum mainnet. Many wallets show USDT and Ethereum-style addresses on all of them, which makes it easy to send on the wrong one. If the casino cashier shows ERC20, your transfer must go out on Ethereum mainnet. If you send on a layer-2 because "it is also Ethereum", the deposit may never reach the casino balance. Use only the exact network the cashier names.
Which casinos list USDT on ERC20?
| Casino | USDT | Networks |
|---|---|---|
| Rakebit | Yes | TRC20, BEP20, ERC20, Solana, TON |
| Jack | Yes | Several networks (per reviews) |
| Qzino | Yes | Check the cashier |
| Stake | Yes | Chosen in the Wallet |
Rakebit - official USDT and USDC networks are TRC20, BEP20, ERC20, Solana and TON. Minimum deposit is about $5 in crypto, minimum withdrawal about $10, and Rakebit charges no withdrawal fee, so you only pay the network fee. Withdrawals are sent instantly and arrive after blockchain confirmations, usually minutes. Read the Rakebit review for the full picture.
Rakebit does not accept players from: China, Costa Rica, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Ukraine, United States. Check the casino terms for the full list and your local law before playing.
Stake accepts USDT and ETH among more than twenty coins. The network is chosen in the Wallet, and the withdrawal screen shows the minimum and any fee for the coin you pick. Stake does not charge deposit fees, though the network fee still applies. More in our Stake review.
Jack reportedly supports USDT and ETH, with USDT on several networks, according to independent reviews. Withdrawal limits are reportedly $50,000 per 7 days and $100,000 per 30 days - relevant if you are moving large amounts, which is exactly when ERC20 tends to make sense.
Qzino confirms USDT and ETH. Its USDT networks are not published, so the cashier shows what is available.
When ERC20 makes the most sense
- High-limit play. If you deposit and withdraw large sums, a per-transaction gas fee is a small share of the transfer. Pair this with our high-limit USDT casinos page to compare withdrawal caps.
- Your funds are already on Ethereum. Bridging or swapping to another network adds its own costs and risks.
- Cashing out to a wallet that only uses Ethereum. Withdraw on the network your destination supports, not the one that looks cheapest.
When to skip ERC20
- Small, frequent deposits - gas is paid every time.
- You hold no ETH and do not want to buy it just for fees.
- The casino cashier does not show ERC20 at all.
For those cases, look at USDT on TRC20 (fees in TRX), USDT on BEP20 (fees in BNB) or USDT on Solana (fees usually a fraction of a cent). Our fees and wallets guide puts all five networks in one table.
Pre-send checklist for ERC20
- Network field says ERC20 or Ethereum - not Arbitrum, Base or another chain.
- Token is USDT, not ETH.
- Wallet holds enough ETH for gas.
- Test amount is above the casino minimum.
- Address pasted and checked at the start and end.

FAQ
What coin do I need to pay ERC20 fees?
ETH. Gas on Ethereum is always paid in ETH, so keep some in the same wallet as your USDT.
Is ERC20 safe for casino deposits?
The network is well established, but safety depends on sending to the right address on the right network. Crypto transfers are irreversible, so test with a small amount first.
Does Rakebit charge extra for ERC20 withdrawals?
Rakebit charges no withdrawal fee of its own on any network. The Ethereum network fee still applies.
Can I deposit USDT on Arbitrum or Base to an ERC20 address?
Do not do it unless the cashier explicitly lists that network. Arbitrum and Base are separate layer-2 networks; use only the network the casino shows.
Which other casinos support ERC20?
Stake, Jack and Qzino accept USDT, but they do not publish networks. Open the USDT deposit screen in their cashier to see whether ERC20 is listed.
